Let’s hear it for our boys!
This year we have seen a much higher number of boys coming into our care, yet the vast majority of applicants still tell us they would prefer a girl and won’t even consider adopting a male.
2026: Six Month Update
As we are now halfway through the year (where has that time gone?!), we wanted to give you a little six-month update on what’s been happening at JR between the start of January and the end of June.
The realities of rescue
Rescue can be utterly soul-destroying at times, and we are currently going through a particularly busy period, with so many Whippets needing to come into our care but very few homes suitable for the dogs we currently have looking for families.
