Life in rescue continues to be as busy as ever, but we’re delighted that 8 lucky whippets have headed off to their new homes this month!
October has also been a particularly busy month for vet visits. We’ve had several whippets come into our care requiring ongoing specialist veterinary treatment, along with some lovely oldies who have needed much-needed dental work.
November is already shaping up to be another busy month! We’re on the road every day next week, taking more lucky whippets to their new homes while also collecting several new arrivals who will be joining us in rescue. There’s certainly not much time to switch off at the moment!
As always, none of this would be possible without your incredible support. Whether you donate, share our appeals, offer a home, foster or simply offer words of kindness, you all play a part in helping us continue our work, and we really can’t thank you enough.
Don’t forget, you can become a ‘Friend of JR Whippet Rescue’. By becoming a Friend, you’ll be helping us continue our vital work and will receive our twice-yearly newsletter, packed with rescue updates, stories and plenty of wonderful whippety reading!
