As we are now half way through the year (where has that time gone!!) We wanted to give you a little 6 month update on what’s been going on at JR between the start of January and the end of June 2024.
During this time period we have been asked to help with the rehoming of 66 dogs.
We are very pleased to say that 50 of these are now doing very well in their new homes.
4 are in short term foster while they find new homes and 5 are in long term foster due to ongoing medical/behavioural needs that we are supporting. The remaining 7 are all moving to their new homes over the next couple of weeks.
As well as being here to help rehome Whippets, we have also been here to support Whippet owners in need and contributed to some emergency veterinary fees from our welfare fund.
It has been an extremely busy 6 months but we are pleased that we’ve been able to be here to help the Whippets.
As always we thank our area reps, foster carers, volunteers, transporters and supporters for all their continued help. We couldn’t do this without you all.
