It’s been another busy month, and during August 10 lucky whippets headed off to their new homes, and as you can see, they are all settling in very well 
We actually saw a slight decrease in dogs being surrendered during August, which gave us some breathing space and time to organise current residents moving to their new homes 
We already have plans in place for 4 whippets to move to their lovely new homes in the coming days 
.
Now the holidays are coming to an end, we are starting to see the number of whippets needing our help rise again, so as we head into autumn, things are looking to be very busy.
So much goes on behind the scenes with rescue, and even when we are quiet on social media, there is still lots happening. From speaking to potential adopters, arranging homechecks, transport runs, emergency collections, keeping up with paperwork etc, the days are never quiet. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers for their invaluable help.
