Many of the Whippets coming into our care require very specific foster placements in order to help them decompress, feel safe, and begin adjusting to a new home life. This can include homes without children or other pets, fully secure gardens with minimum 6ft fencing, someone who is home for much of the day to help with separation anxiety, or fosterers who are confident beginning basic training work, particularly around lead reactivity.
For this reason, we have to select our foster homes very carefully to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both the dogs and the people involved.
In addition to this message, an email has been sent to the address you provided notifying you of our receipt of your application. If you do not receive this email within 12 hours, please check your spam/junk folder as automated emails can sometimes end up there.
