We deal with so many enquiries, emails, phone calls, surrenders, and emergency rescues daily and we must get back to people in order of priority to ensure we can help all the Whippets that need us.

1.	Information about you
	1.1	We will collect personal information from you when you enquire about our activities, register as a Friend with us or enquire about rehoming. This may include your name, title, email address, physical address and telephone numbers. We may also ask for some additional, non-personal information.
2.	Our use of this information
	2.1	Your information will only be used to process your requests, to ensure that you and any rehomed dog are the best match for each other, and should you become a Friend, to provide you with our Friends Newsletter.
	2.2	We will keep your information as long as is necessary to fulfill the needs for which it was collected.
	2.3	We do not share information with any other organisation.
3.	Security
	3.1	We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us. Whilst we endeavour to keep our systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects we cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus-free.
