JR Whippet Rescue CIO
JR Whippet Rescue CIO is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation run by a dedicated group of trustees.
As a registered charity we are regulated by the Charity Commission and are required to provide certain information about the way in which we operate and how we use our resources. This information is available online via the Charity Commission (search for JR Whippet Rescue CIO – number 1215071).
We previously operated as JR Whippet Rescue (number 326479) but for organisational reasons the Trustees decided to change our trust status to become a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) from 1 April 2026. This will give the charity a corporate structure (under the civil law of England and Wales) which will assist with its ongoing governance improvements and simplify many of our dealings with banks, utility companies etc.
This will not affect the way the charity operates on a day to day basis and our contact details remain unchanged. We have changed our bank account so if necessary please contact us for the details.
