Gus has now been adopted into his forever home.
This handsome boy is 3 year old Gus. He came into our care through no fault of his own. Gus is very loving and affectionate with people, a little too much so sometimes! Meaning he can get a bit overexcited, jumping up for cuddles and kisses ![]()

He didn’t have the best of starts, and lacked vital socialisation as a puppy, this has caused him to be reactive towards some dogs, and strong on the lead.
Please read the information on this Facebook post and see more photos of Goregous Gus

Please tell me where your based and can we come to see the dogs in need of a home
Hi Andrew, JRWR do not have a Kennel facility as they are a dedicated foster network, whippets do not thrive in kennels so they stay with volunteers until a home is found for them. You can complete an Adoption Application Form that will let them know of your interest and the rehoming team will check for suitability. There is something of a waiting list usually, although there are some dogs with complex needs that take a while to find a home for. They have to be very careful that the match is right for the adopter and the dog. You can see more info at the above adoption link.
