UPDATE: Bobby has now been rehomed.
My name is Bobby, I am 12 weeks old and haven’t had the best start in life. Even though I am incredibly cute, I am going through my ‘puppy’ phase and can be a handful at times. Ideally I would like to live with another dog so they can show me how to be a good boy, older children so they respect my space, no cats or small animals and preferably someone who has whippet experience.
I already know how to sit and I am clean in my crate and ask when I want to go out, I can be very anxious when left so my new family will need to take some time out to help me adjust to my new home, I would also like to carry on with my obedience training and socialisation classes.
If you are interested in giving Bobby a loving home, please contact us via email on rehoming@whippetrescue.org.uk or call on 01359 259300
Oh my! He’s gorgeous, we have an 8 year whippet called Kes however we have just moved to a smallholding & have pet lambs, will chat to my son & hubby & be in touch ?
We are a family of 4 adults who have 3 dogs (a greyhound, rescue lurcher and Rescue jack Russell x)
It says no cats. Would this be a deal breaker? We have 3 cats who are used to living with sighthounds and are dog savvy.
I have references from the two rescues we got our dogs from.
Our garden is secure and there is always someone home.
If you would be willing to let him live with cats I can give you any more information you would like about us as a family and a home.

I would love to give him a home we live in Llandudno,in the countryside.we have two whippets. Iam retired, and garden is safe x

Hi everyone, I’m the main admin on the website, but not a rehoming officer. I would heartily recommend that if anyone is interested in little Bobby (or the handsome older chap, Diesel) then the best thing to do is to ring/email the number/address in the above post. If you want to be on the waiting list for rescue whippet(s) in the future you can fill in the form on the “Get Involved” page to express an interest in adoption.
Has Bobby found his forever home yet

What a lovely dog, my family would love to offer him forever home, we already have 11 months old Siberian Husky and he’s desperate for company as he’s very friendly with all dogs, there always somebody home with all required facilities to keep him a very happy dog. We would like to be considered as this little puppy would make great addition to our family, if any further information required please don’t hestitate to contact us.
I’m trying to get all the details of the JR Whippet charity as I’m leaving quarter of my will to you,
Regards Mark
Hi Mark, you can get in touch with the rescue via our Getting Involved page. There is a form on there you can submit to tell JRWR how you would like to help.
Kind regards,
Web Admin
He’s just like my whippet Flint, same markings and everything, I thought it was Flint at first. Hope Bob will be an asset to you family as Flint is to ours.
Enjoy your life little man
